HOW TO UNBRICK/FLASH MediaTek (MTK) DEVICES

Hello, I will be showing you how to flash or unbrick dead MediaTek (MTK) devices like Tecno, Gionee, infinix, THL etc. using SP Flash Tools. Just follow the steps below carefully and your phone will come back to life.... 

Download and install MTK driver 

Download and install MT65XX VCOM driver 

Download SP flash tool (latest version is preferable) 

Download the stock rom of the device you want to unbrick or flash 

Extract SP Flash Tool and launch... 

 

When its open, Click on the Scatter-loading button, see image below: 

 

Now locate the Scatter File in the backup or ROM of the phone you downloaded. The file is usually a text file. NOTE:- Always only load a ROM that is 100% made for your phone, flashing a wrong ROM may make your phone non-bootable.  

 

. Now Click on the "Download" button for SP Flash Tool to now begin the flashing process. 

 

Connect back your smartphone to the computer with the USB. Then now Press Vol Down or Vol Up key so that the Computer can now detect your phone. 

Once the Flashing is complete you will see a green circle, for confirmation, With a "Download Ok", see image below: 

 

Now, close the SP Flash Tool and then disconnect your phone from the computer. 

That’s all, and Congratulations your device is now flashed with a new Stock or Custom ROM. 

If your phone bootloops, remove battery and boot into recovery mode. Then select Factory reset.
