There are several methods to change, repair or fix IMEI number of any Android mobile device. Android MTK devices like MTK 6577 / 6575 , MediaTek MTK6592 / MTK6753 android devices, e.g:- TECNOInfinixSamsungiTelInnjooetc,  and this post will show you how to change, repair, analyze, fix null/invalid IMEI number of your device. 
Many browsing cheats involves tweaking the IMEI number of a particular phone model in order to benefit from free data/MB/GB been assign to new phones. Maybe you want to use Glo BISAirtel BIS or Etisalat BIS on Android phone, changing your Android IMEI to that if Blackberry makes this possible. 
Sometimes when you flash your phone or just revive a bricked Android device, you may be faced with invalid IMEI number problem. You don’t have to take your phone to a repair guy to fix an invalid IMEI number as you can do it with any of the guides below. 

What is IMEI Number: 
IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a 15- or 17-digit code that uniquely identifies mobile phone sets. The IMEI code can enable a GSM (Global System for Mobile communication) or UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications Service) network to prevent a misplaced or stolen phone from initiating calls. 
Why Change Android Phone IMEI Number? 
Below are some of the reasons you may want to change the IMEI number of your android phone.

The methods will be divided into the following categories:

…Before You Begin 
Before we proceed, backup your Android phone using flashify or ROM Manager. You will also need to get a valid IMEI number. If you simply want to repair IMEI number, you should see the original IMEI number under your battery. Copy it down. But if you want to change IMEI number to a different one, get it from a device and tweak it using one of the methods we shall be looking into. Confirm IMEI Using IMEI Analyzer App 
After generating the IMEI number, you will need to be sure the IMEI number is valid. There is a special Android app called IMEI analyzer that will get the job done. See full guide on how to use it here. 
Now that we have the basic requirements, we can now proceed with 7 ways to change or repair IMEI number of Android devices. 

DISCLAIMER: Use with caution; Changing of IMEI is illegal in some countries, and I will not be held responsible for any consequences that befall the changer. Although if all steps are followed correctly, then it should work. 

METHOD 1: Using Exposed Installer and IMEI changer apk 
This procedure on how to change or repair IMEI number works for ALL PHONES – Samsung, HTC, LG, including the branded variants, etc. Using exposed installer and IMEI changer apk does not require PC but your phone must be rooted. 
Download and install Xpose installer HERE and lauch it 
Click on FRAMEWORK, click on INSTALL/UPDATE 
Reboot your device 
Download and install Xposed IMEI changer from HERE 
Open xpose installer, click on modules, make sure imei changer is ticked 
Click on imei changer to lauch the app 
Input your generated imei in the space provided and click APPLY. 
Reboot yor phone and check your imei with *#06#. 
Done.!!!

METHOD 2: Using Codes (without PC) – ROOT REQUIRED. 
This method may work for both MTK ( e.g Techno phones) and non-MTK devices (e.g Samsung phones/HTC/LG etc). 
Dial either of the following *#7465625# OR *#*#3646633#*#* It should take you into the engineer mode of your phone. 
Locate CDS Information and click on it. 
Locate Radio Information and click on it. 
If your phone has dual SIM space, there will be two options for you, select either PHONE/SIM 1 or PHONE/SIM 2 depending on the imei you want to change. 
You can now change the IMEI number by editing where u see AT+ 
In front of the AT+, type E and a pop up showing EGMR=**,”” 
Select AT+EGMR=1,7″” if you want to change that of phone/sim 1 OR AT+EGMR=1,10,”” if you want to change that of phone/sim 2. 
Insert the imei the generated IMEI from GIPv4.1 and insert it between the semi-colon like this: 
                                                 AT+EGMR=1,7”9100***********” 
Check that your IMEI is 15 digits, once confirmed, click to send. 
Done!!! 

NOTE: if your Android is running the latest versions 4.4.2 and above, insert a space between AT and + before you click send. ie AT +EGMR=1,7”9100***********”

METHOD 3: Using Mobileuncle MTK Tools – Mostly for MTK devices (without PC) 
It is basically same procedure with method 2 above but instead of using codes, you will use MOBILEUNCLE TOOLs. This tool is an apk and you can get it from playstore. Get it HERE and follow through same process in method 2. 

METHOD 4: Through Terminal Emulator of Android Phone/Tab (without PC) 
 Your phone must be a Rooted Device 
Download Terminal Emulator from Play Store HERE 
Open Android Terminal Emulator 
Type SU then press ENTER button to get Superuser permmison 
Type the following command; if single sim,          echo ‘AT+EGMR=1,7, “IMEI_NUMBER” ‘ >/dev/pttycmd1 If your phone is dual-sim, type this command:         echo ‘AT+EGMR=1,10, “IMEI_NUMBER” ‘ >/dev/pttycmd1 
Press ENTER 
Reboot your phone/tablet and done. 
Done!!! 

NOTE: if your Android is running the latest versions 4.4.2 and above, insert a space between AT and + before you click enter i.e AT +EGMR=1,7”9100***********”

METHOD 5: Using MTKDroid Tools – (with PC)

Install to PC and launch

METHOD 6: Using Phone ID Changer Pro 
Phone ID changer pro is the best alternative for those intending to change the value of of their Android’s IMEI, Android Id, Serial NumberWifi Mac Address as well as the service set identifier (SSID) of the current wifi network. This app uses the secure settings API to write the ANDROID_ID, and it grants itself the relevant permission using the package manager executable. 

METHOD 7: Using Chamelephon Apk 
You require ROOT ACCESS to use this application and this method is unique for two reasons: 
Works perfectly on android phones running on Google’s latest Android 6 (Marshmallow). 
Provides One-Click process, making it the easiest method. 

METHOD 8: Using MTK Engineering Mode Apk 
While using MTN Engineering Mode App is important is because ROOT ACCESS is not required. 

Bonus 
Not every phone running on Android 6.0 or latest can have their IMEI number changed/repaired/analyze/Fixed Null/Invalid. For such phones, flashing TWRP or CWM recovery and SuperSu is required.
