Requirements.
- A Personal Computer
INSTALLING TWRP RECOVERY ON INFINIX HOT 4 X557
Before you begin, Make sure your device battery is 100% fully charged. But if you have at least 60% battery power, you can proceed. Once you've meet the first requirment, proceed to the next one by downloading the above files.
Navigate to your phone settings and locate About Phone, tap on it and find Build Number and Tap On It 7 Times, A pop up message will be displayed showing you are now a developer.
Just before About tap on Developer Options and Locate USB Debugging, Activate it by swiping your hands to the right
Find a working USB cable and connect your phone with a PC
Transfer the downloaded SuperSu.zip to your phone memory
When you are true with the above step, power off your device and disconnect your phone.
Unzip the Twrp Zip File you downloaded above to the Desktop
Install and Launch SP Flash Tools
Load Infinix Hot 4 Scatter Files From SP flash tool
Quickly Navigate to your desktop and select the scatter file at the Unzipped TWRP folder.
At the SP Flash Tool Tick only Recovery
While at the SP Flash Tool, Locate Select Option and Chose Download
Next Step is to click the Download button in the SP Flash tool
Now Connect your Device with your PC via USB Cable
Flashing Process will start automatically do not tamper with the Cable this time.
After some minutes a green circle with an OK sign would be shown
One completed you need to boot your phone into recovery mode this can be done by pressing the power button + volume up for some seconds.
